| Honey Glazed Smoked Chicken
2 whole chickens, quartered, or 4 chicken breasts 1/2 cup of honey 1/2 cup of sauvignon blanc wine 1 cup of wood chips Salt and pepper to taste |

Mix honey and wine. Rub half of the mixture over the chicken and set aside. Prepare the grill and start the fire. When the coals are heated to white, add the wood chips and burn for 5 minutes. For gas grills, preheat on high for 10 minutes. Lower heat to medium-low, add the chips and burn for 5 minutes. Put the chicken on the grill and sear. Close the grill lid and smoke for 15 minutes. Check for doneness, smoke until juices run clear. Remove the chicken from the grill and cover with remaining honey/wine mixture. Serve with remaining sauvignon blanc wine. |
