| Grandma's Cornbread
2 eggs, beaten 2 tablespoons of oil 1 3/4 cups of buttermilk 2 cups of cornmeal 2 tablespoons of finely chopped onion 2 tablespoons of hot sauce
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Heat a greased cast iron skillet in oven. IN a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into a hot skillet and bake at 350ºF. for 30 minutes or until bread pulls away from sides. |
