1 pound of ground beef 1/3 cup of chopped onion 2 teaspoons of chili powder 1 tablespoon of shortening 3/4 teaspoon of salt 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce 1 cup of tomato juice 1 cup of kidney beans, drained 1 cup of corn bread batter
Brown the meat and onion in shortening. Add remaining ingredients, except corn bread batter, simmer for 15 minutes. Pour in baking dish, spoon corn bread batter over top. Bake at 425ºF. for 15 -20 minutes. 6 servings |
