1 medium onion, chopped 1 pound of ground beef salt 1 pound can of green beans, drained 1 can of condensed tomato soup 4 medium potatoes, cooked 1/2 cup of warm milk 1 egg, beaten pepper
Cook onion in small amount of fat until tender, but not brown. Add meat and 3/4 teaspoon of salt. Brown lightly. Add beans and soup. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Mash potatoes while hot, add milk, egg, salt and pepper to taste. Drop in mounds over meat. If desired, sprinkle potatoes with 1/2 cup of shredded process American cheese. Bake at 350ºF. for 30 minutes. 6 servings |
