2 green peppers, sliced 2 large onions, sliced 3 tablespoons of cooking oil 1 pound of ground beef 2 cups of cooked tomatoes 1 cup of cooked rice 1 teaspoon of chili powder 1 teaspoon of salt a dash of pepper bread crumbs
Sauté peppers and onions in oil until tender. Add hamburger and cook until redness disappears, stirring with fork to crumble meat. Add tomatoes, rice and seasonings. Arrange in a greased baking dish and top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 350ºF. until crumbs are brown. 4 servings |
