| Hot Tea Punch
1/2 cup of sugar 1/2 cup of water one2 inch stick of cinnamon 1 teaspoon of grated lemon rind 1 1/2 teaspoons of grated orange rind 1/4 cup of orange juice 2 tablespoons of lemon juice 1/4 cup of canned pineapple juice 3 cups of boiling water 3 tablespoons of tea leaves or 9 tea bags
In a saucepan, combine the sugar, water, cinnamon, lemon and orange rinds, boil for 5 minutes. Remove cinnamon stick. Add orange, lemon and pineapple juice, keep hot. Pour boiling water over tea, steep for 5 minutes, strain. Combine with juice. Serve hot, float orange slices with cloves on top. |
