6 - 8 green tomatoes, peeled and quartered or 1 1/2 cups of canned tomatillos, drained 1 medium onion, cut into pieces 1/2 cup of diced green chilies 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced or to taste 1 teaspoon of salt tortilla chips |

Puree tomatoes in processor or blender. Add all remaining ingredients except chips and mix well. Transfer to serving bowl, cover and refrigerate. Serve with tortilla chips. Makes about 2 cups Back to salsa recipes |
