Hot Water Cornbread Patties
1 pouch (6.5 ounces) of Betty Crocker golden corn muffin and bread mix 1/3 cup of boiling water 1/4 cup of vegetable oil Stir muffin mix (dry) and water in medium bowl until soft dough forms (dough will be slightly sticky). Shape mixture into six 3 inch patties with floured hands. Heat oil in 12 inch skillet over medium heat. Fry patties in hot oil, turning once, until deep golden brown. Drain on paper towels. 6 patties. |
